Pre-Occupational Therapy

Description

Students who identify as Pre-Occupational Therapy plan to apply to a graduate school for Occupational Therapy. The preprofessional advisor helps students develop a strategy for completing prerequisites, identifying an appropriate departmental major, and navigating the application process. Students select a major field of study (degree program) during their second or third semester of study. A faculty advisor is then assigned to help students develop a plan to meet Indiana State University’s degree requirements for that major.

Important: Students are encouraged to contact the department chair (Dr. John Pommier, 812-237-4065, John.Pommier@indstate.edu) for clarification about this pre-professional program.
