Description

In the United States, 30 million men and women will suffer from a clinically significant eating disorder during their lifetime. The rate of eating disorders among college students has risen to 10 to 20 percent of women and 4 to 10 percent of men.  The Indiana State University Student Counseling Center is committed to helping raise awareness and funds in the fight against eating disorders.  We are excited to host out second annual National Eating Disorders Association Walk on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 10:00 am.  This 1 mile walk will start at the Michael Simmons Student Activity Center on the ISU campus.  By participating in and donating to a NEDA Walk, you are helping to raise awareness about the dangers surrounding eating disorders and the need for early intervention and treatment. By getting involved in a NEDA Walk, you are saving lives.
