In the drought-stricken West during the Great Depression, the Curry family ranch is about as dry as daughter Lizzie’s chances of finding a husband. Out of the blue pops Starbuck, who promises to make it rain for $100. Enlisting this charmer’s professed charms brings more than what HC Curry and his sons bargained for–it opens the love floodgates as well.
