Dr. JaDora Sailes is an Associate Professor at Indiana State University in Educational and School Psychology programs. She teaches courses in multicultural education and child and adolescent psychology.

Her teaching and school counseling experience spans nearly 20 years in secondary and university settings. Dr. Sailes received B.A. degrees in Psychology and African American Studies from Eastern Illinois University.  She also completed her Masters’ Degree in Guidance and Counseling from the same institution.  Dr. Sailes received her Doctorate degree at Indiana University in Higher Education and Administration. 

Her research interests focuses on the development of attitudes and beliefs which support multicultural education among pre-service teachers, school culture, and the interplay between culturally responsive teaching and academic achievement.
