Research Interests

  • My research has concentrated on the political economy of the Middle East region, concentrating on Iraq. This has led to policy consulting and numerous invited lectures. Recent research has concentrated on historical land tenure systems as well as a revisiting of the political economy of Arab revolts after ten years.
