Meeker was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, and raised in Marshall. She graduated cum laude from Indiana State University in 2011, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies and a Minor in Civic Leadership, with university and departmental honors.

Meeker received her juris doctorate from Southern Illinois University School of Law at Carbondale in May, 2014. While in law school, Meeker was a member of the S.I.U. Moot Court Appellate Team, and competed throughout the United States. She was awarded membership in the Order of Barristers, a national honorary organization that recognizes individuals who have excelled in advocacy and service in law school, as well as awards in a national competition.

Meeker began her practice of law at the Mt. Vernon office of Craig & Craig, LLC, in August 2014. While with Craig & Craig, LLC, she has focused on civil litigation and workers’ compensation. Meeker co-authored the 2014 and 2020 Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education chapter on “Jurisdiction of Courts Other than District Courts,” and the 2019 IICLE chapter on “Settlements,” as well as multiple articles in the Workers’ Compensation Newsletter of the Illinois State Bar Association.

Meeker is a member of the Illinois State and Jefferson County Bar Associations, and of the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel. Meeker has also served on the Board of Directors for CASA of Jefferson County since 2014, and was Board President for the 2018-2019 term.
